What is a Root Server?

A Root Server is a computer with the following features:

1. You are its only user. You don't have to share it with any other customers.

2. You can log on to the server as "root" (administrator), giving you all the
access rights to the computer.

3. The server can only be accessed and administered by a network connection.
It is not possible to work directly from a PC using a keyboard and monitor.
